How to delete your data

If you messaged a business through Facebook or Messenger

Some service businesses use OfficeAssist to read and reply to messages sent to their Facebook Page. If you sent a message to one of those Pages, OfficeAssist stores your Facebook name, the Page-scoped ID Facebook provides, and the messages in that conversation, only so the business can reply to you.

To delete that data:

1. Email support@officeassist-ai.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
2. Tell us the name of the business you messaged and the name on your Facebook profile, so we can find the conversation.
3. We will delete the conversation and your Facebook details from OfficeAssist within 30 days and email you to confirm.

You can also ask the business directly. Removing OfficeAssist from your Facebook settings does not by itself delete messages a business has already received.

If you are a customer of a business that uses OfficeAssist

Contact the business, or email support@officeassist-ai.com with the business name and the phone number or email the business has for you. We will verify the request and delete your information, except anything a business is required by law to keep (for example, invoice records).

If you are a business using OfficeAssist

• You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time from Business Settings → Facebook Page (Messenger) → Disconnect. This stops new messages and removes the stored Page access token.
• To close your account and delete your business's data, email support@officeassist-ai.com from the account administrator's email address. You can download a copy of your data first from Business Settings → Your data.
